@tereško : you wont believe how recruitment works out in some colleges in India. In the college I studied , its Bulk recruitment , 125 students gets selected in a single company, don't even know what they do with that kind of manpower.. 99.9 % of students with gpa about 6.9 get selected if they know how to swap 2 variables in "C" ..
@Vamsi oh .. i am quite aware of how recruiting works in India, and the quality of developers that are produced by the scores of "information technology colleges".
@PLB No, it depends on place to place, India has a strong economy, the thing is there is much exploitation out here, people need jobs, say 1000 people - 1 company ratio here, you get less vacancy, so in this scenario, people are happy to work even at low salary, only few earns more(if they have some talent and are unique with their work)
I feel like I'm not fully understanding how DOMDocument::registerNodeClass() should be used, it seems to only do a quarter of the job you would expect it to. But at the same time, I can see it's a bit of a chicken and egg problem, you don't really want to globally set PHP to always create DOM related objects from some lib, because it adds a global state that might break other bits of an app

@Amith There's nothing bad in learning but questions as they are formatted in most cases does not fit Q/A format. E.g., if you ask: what's the best way to do X? There won't be any correct answer. If you ask somebody else to do your job, you won't get anything and so on. That's why most of the so called "noob" questions are closed/deleted here.
Guys in an MVC system or something like Zend Framework... does each page have it's own physical html/php file or is this all handled inside the classes/objects?
@tereško how are these pages loaded in the browser in terms of the URL... is it done using .htaccess rules or does it load a different page pased on the URL...
I've looked at Zend Framework and things like this but I want to try and build my own just to understand how it works from the bottom up @tereško
@tereško can you recommend any books or online tutorials for this... I don't expect it is something you can fully explain on here... for example bootstrap/init file examples

if any of these fails, you trigger some error response
@Vamsi so is this done with .htaccess rules? Is this possible without .htaccess? What you have mentioned makes sense now... So basically every page request goes through the bootstrap file
so example.com/friends/add/ the controller would be friends and the action would be add..
and then you create classes based on these controller and action names?
I think may be I will try that.. ZF2 didn't seem too easy to pick up quickly
so when the bootstrap recieves the url example.com/controller.php/friends/edit do you just check the $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] and use a regex value or is it done some other way

@PeterFeatherstone : just check out some existing implementations of routing libraries , you might get an idea..but they have evolved too much to actually understand them at one go.
I'm not sure if this it was OP asks about (or in total), there is also an issue keeping the own type for the document. But it was not asked specifically about that.
@hakre Reading between the lines, I think what he wants is true multiple inheritance, both inheriting members and type satisfaction, which is just not possible. Something I still don't understand is why traits aren't typehintable.
@DaveRandom Well, it's easy to do like I showed in my answer. This is also something abusive you could say, however in it's own domain. I would rather like to see types and traits separated from each other.
But the thing is, a trait is just like a portable interface implementation. I see no reason why it shouldn't be treated as such from a typing point of view. Although I can also see that if I got my own way there I may live to regret it, it would quite possibly result in a whole new approach to spaghetti code.

it's always subjective. All best-practice is, is a point-in-time concensus among a group of respected people. It's relatively arbitrary, and it's always going to change over time. That makes it subjective and volatile in the long term...
