why is g++ 5.1 starred so often? I just gave up porting a project from Clang 3.6 to g++ 5.1, filed 3 bug reports (including an ICE) today. Its support for C++14 constexpr and variable templates are very spotty
C++ is a bloated language, hard to learn, hard to debug. Today, when Java already has the same performance as C++, there is no reason whatsoever to use it.
