Man, asking for recommendations on Linux distros practically solidified me even further in the Windows 10 / Visual Studio 2015 / DirectX 12 camp. With all the crap I deal on a daily basis, it's still the shit.

The problem is when Ubuntu uses 4 different window managers in 5 years, endorses Shotwell all of a sudden to replace F-Spot, which replaced the previous "blessed" photo manager. And Tomboy replaced the note taking app, but gets later replaced by Gnote... Same with music players. I've seen at least 4 different ones endorsed as "the standard desktop app for music"... etc
