You'd think there'd be a good portion of the user base who doesn't know or care that much about the drama. Maybe the bitterness of the candidate questionnaire convinced people not to apply.
Oh FSM, looking at the version history, it looks like this is another one of those mod vs user fiascos. Mods favor no change, users favor improvement. That's great.
Status quo: You can edit an answer without changing its meaning, even in substantial ways, because the change usually isn't controversial enough to have it reverted or for chat users to get upset. However, it shouldn't be taken lightly if it's non-CW.
