@Vic Oh, that's interesting. Do you mean it produces an error when you use Python 3.8 but it you think it wouldn't raise an error if you used Python 3.6? (I'm asking these questions 'cause I ain't an expert at Python. I'm actually kind of an intermediate in Java.)

@Vic The reason I always thought only invitations would work was that it didn't seem like you'd ever respond to me when I didn't invite you. It was probably a coincidence, I guess, but I took that as the rule, not as the exception :)
