A: AlarmManager set as PM firing at AM time

I've found a solution to this problem. After doing some tests I noticed that the problem only happened when I set the time to something previous to the current hour. Then it occurred to me that perhaps the AlarmManager might automatically fire "old alarms" so that might've been why I was getting...

I've only used Firestore, because everything I read suggested that it was basically an improved version of RealtimeDB.

Except there were certain specific scenarios where Realtime would be better.

You generally wont want to use the spark plan in production, because they make it artificially slower. If you upgrade to the pay-as-you-go plan it will still be free until you surpass the limits of the spark plan.

I haven't used it for anything crazy that went past the spark plan limits though, so I don't really have any insight into that.

Backend people take on so much more risk. Like if a backend dev fucks up data is lost or worse exposed. You could crash a server or really fuck shit up. Front end guy makes an error a buttons blue instead of green.
