Check the rating on the Pi's powersupply - a lot of the cheaper ones are only 1A or 2A, which is enough for the Pi to boot, but not enough for anything intensive

But if you already have the screen for the arduino, it will almost certainly work if you wire it up directly to the Pi's GPIOs

Pretty much all arduino hardware works with a Pi

A full touch 1080p LCD will draw a lot more power than a monochrome segment display

I'd say you'd be best off getting a powered USB hub

If you really want to learn cool stuff, power it off USB, but then connect some PINs together to get a serial interface
