Such disclosure in the post is required when the user is mentioning/recommending/linking/etc. something with which they are affiliated. Without such disclosure, a post is considered spam. Admittedly, this particular post should still be considered spam, as it is unsolicited (the question is asking how to do something, not for products).

@DavidArenburg well on that everyone is free to judge, for sure CM's do not have all that power, anyway for me it was a great laugh, the creator has a lot of knowledge about SO and also according to me a sense of humour. LET'S HAVE FUN, including CM's
