Hey, I put wrong question in a duplicate flag, retraced the flag only to find out that I can't re-flag to another question.

No worries, personally I only tend to dupe-vote stuff that's in my knowledge area or stuff that's absolutely blatent, but others here with more knowledge than me can probably chime in

Naturally, I did the same, but just targeted wrong question initially. I think this new one is correct.

It's relatively new tag and framework, so not sure how many people lurk here who are knowledgeable with that regard.

depends if you pronounce it ess-q-l or sequel, of course. An SQL script. A sequel script.

For writing or saying it, you use "a" or "an" based on how it would be pronounced. It doesn't change between saying it and writing it. As @MichaelDodd said, it's based on the sound of the next syllable, not the actual letter used, which could be different, based on how the writer would pronounce a word (as @StephenKennedy said).
