If it's enabled and WP isn't seeing / using this customizer box when the code is in functions.php, then it's nothing to do with the location of your code

If in doubt, start dropping dies in until you break your script. Drop a die in your register method and go to the customiser

Oh damn, that's pretty baller. The guy who filed issues to remove i'm a teapot implementations from libraries has since went into the process of getting code 418 marked as reserved :V (after the overwhelming response to keep it in)

sorry if it's wrong to ask it here, but any idea why I can't access a 711 folder in my CentOS WHM ftp ? :| i used shh and generated key etc coz thats how google cloud computing VM works. 755 folders open but 711 wont open, but i should be admin tho ?

You've given full rwx to the owner, execute only to the group and others (execute only rarely makes sense)

If you have ssh access, check the owner, and check your current user

well I might not fully understand it, but as far as i remember, first number is for admin ? and 7 = u can do everything ? and I should be admin, so 711 and 755 both should be ok for admin, right ?

files can be owned by people who are not you

there is no "admin" user on linux, there is only "root"

oh, if the whole server is for me, and i am the owner, is it fine and no security risk if i just make everything 771 or 755 or such ?

the thing is, It's my own VM from google, and i just made a ftp for the whole vm, but i can't open the /home directory, coz its 711, while etc and other directly with 755 works

i had VM before, and used normal ftp, never had problem with these files. and 711 opened easily. but this google cloud computing made me have to make some change :|
