Hello all. I'm making a DB searching site/program. I am comfortable with javascript, and made buttons that will build parts of a php request as javascript variables. I've read on stack overflow that I can use a hidden textbox to GET those to use in the request but it seems like a work around rather than the correct way to do it. What is the standard way to do this? Should I not be using javascript at all?

I have never really used, Slim or Expressive in anything running on production, but I do remember making some prototypes and dummy apps in these.

Site error/access logs should probably just be stored close to the site itself right? Trying to lock down multiple sites from viewing each other's logs seems like a ballache when logs go through a shared folder

@Gordon Thanks dude, I'll take a look at the links. So QA still has manual stuff before it's actually deployed, but delivery is up until the QA

@Jimbo Aye, It's kind of related. I've got an ELK stack running on docker but the initial logs need to get stored somewhere before they're passed to logstash, right?

Unless you mean to just store everything in combined logs and let the elk stack sort them out

Also looking at GoAOP for the logging, so there's no $this->logger inline in the calls, pretty nifty

Although there is some overhead there, I believe they declare ticks to hook-in on that but I'm not sure as I haven't looked yet

but all the time I am facing the same problem: creating a main class that do all chains between classes to make them work togather and control flow things...is oop about this? Is there a way to backup apache in a way where I could easily revert to it? I want to upgrade apache from 2.4.7 to 2.4.18 to enable http2 but I don't want to mess anything up
