What I'm finding is, if you're not experienced enough to structure what you're doing as you go, forcing yourself to an architectural design pattern will keep you're code somewhat useful (as long as you follow it correctly)
But it's looking like, if you're not experienced, Databinding will eat you up for breakfast
Since you have to use dynamically generated class as you develop, and I have no idea how some of them have been dynamically generated...

What is the solution? For the apps to come up with a paging work around because it's not high priority for them.

our back end's API to return PaymentMethods, instead of returning the payment ID string for American Express returns the description instead. So we have specialized logic to (in some cases) handle Amex cards as ID, sometimes as Description. I've pushed our payment methods PM to get the API to fix this bug, and we're going into month 5 now of it not being fixed.

1) The sorting locally issue was because we found an issue not in our backend but in another service, and that takes time to get fixed. Plus it was a last second emergency.

2) I just found out we've been getting items in ascending order and reversing them all along. It's just now that we've learned the 500 item limit bites us. Who the fuck didn't stand up and say "we shouldn't have to reverse these items" ?!?!
