Hi there, could I have a second opinion please? Would you say that the last 12 questions of this user plus this one by a new user are basically duplicates (or maybe worth two original questions)

they all look like the same variation of a single question yes

I'm technically some of them are like why is this slightly different approach to X not working, but they aren't referring / differentiating to each other in an honest way

I don't even really know where to start, and there seem to be some high profile users involved who don't seem to take offense.

It actually goes way back with the user, the 13 questions are just since he started doing the algorithm in parallel

Yes but it's always the same code. He always tries slightly different things and focuses on the Y-problem, I'd rather like to help him with the X-problem

You should focus on the X-problem. Keep minor changes int he approach as discussion within the original question. If you really feel a new question is in order, refer to your original question and briefly differentiate the new question."
