make sure you install oracle jdk or open jdk, either of this will work

problem: i want to check if excel is finished starting up have done loading a file out of java

@MrT what cmd log did you get so far?

nothing - everything starts well

the problem is that that i call Excel.exe with the path to my file

and windows starts excel and load the file within excel

@MrT you better scan the log in cmd, you might find a hint

i have to track when excel is done

if i starting up excel within the command shell i get logs from excel ?
