The only C# we are writing for our new stuff so far is the API

It was designed for a particular reason, trying to adapt one technology to a different concern isn't by far as good as learning the actual tool that was meant to do the job in the first place.

Well, that's your company's idea. Around here they keep developing stuff in VB6 and it's an even worse idea.

I've spent a week analyzing a 8500 line oracle package that's been broken for a year, and the first thing I've noticed is that the most recent change has never been used because it takes data from an obsolete table that, again, was never used because it was already obsolete the day it was created.

And today I spent 30 minutes discussing with my boss that "loading" means "reading" and "saving" means "writing, but she's obtuse enough to read "load data" and assumes I'm massively writing to the DB.

Dude I use Lightshot and even that lets me highlight stuff. Free-hand drawing but I can highlight like I was using a pen.

both are nouns and can create a movement by rolling around, but one is abstract and can't be read as normal information.

I couldn't export my 16 gig mssql db into "insert into..." type of backup, which doesn't fluff up the accented characters yet. There is an argument for it, which doesn't work.

my main problem (the X in the XY) is that I want a compatible backup between MSSQL 2008 and 2012.
