Hi all, before I ask a question on the main site, I need to know the term for what I'm asking. I want to store something in options() that will only be evaluated when it is called? Like options(FUNOPT = getPass()) to ask for the password interactively when FUN(..., options("FUNOPT")) is called. Is that a "promise"? Or something else? (This is clearly not my area of expertise.)
