Anyway, it is about the debasement of language and how prose is lost as a skill through political orthodoxy -- and how that winds up clouding people's minds because they lose the tools of organized thought over time.
Very scary.

since then half a century has passed, but the article is still relevant (added to the bookmarks) . Yes it's also applies to russian language. But I mean everyday language. Good, informative answer requires elaboration which is not interesting for the majority. And I time to time see how socium rejects all complicated, incomprehensible and different.

They all trying to fit the pattern(template). I know here before it was "fashionable" to differ (views, clothes, style), and now ... do not agree - avoid. I am really frightened by such degradation.
