@sprinter Generally I dislike statements like that because they're loaded - people agree with them simply because not agreeing with them leads to being labelled a hater of some sort. Note that there is already female representation amongst the SO mods (I'm not going to say who it is because it doesn't matter).

But @Bradley is correct - there was a recent Meta discussion (which I can't find so it must be deleted), and the OP was soundly rebuffed by all including the female members. Stack Overflow is merit based, not gender based.

@BenjaminGruenbaum I usually break my voting up into a couple of days. I cast my votes when it opens, then I come back in 12 hours and ask myself if I still feel good about how they look, often changing them. That repeats a couple of times, and ultimately they lock in when the election ends.
