No. The number of project are to be decided by Configuration Manager. You wouldn't want to build the iOS project when your debugging in Android and vice-versa.

Solution makes it easy to consolidate individual projects that are related to each other even they are located at different paths.

It would also open the "linking by project" as option for referencing assemblies.

I'm not sure if it's possible with projects that are not in the same solution though

When referring to the VS jargon "solution", should I always make the first letter uppercase? What is the rule for it in English?

It's not. You get your certificate installed with lets encrypt. on the server. You call the url with https from the client. What the hell are you doing?
