I guess that depends on your definition of successful. Not really a billionaire or anything so still working on that part...

As long as you know what your costs are it is rather easy to create a profitable business.

I run two companies at the moment, one on the side, one full time. Putting in two 9-3 shifts is rough. The first is related to pistachios, walnuts, etc.; the second is an unlaunched startup.

I have an idea for an API that there's definitely a need for. The API itself is dirt simple but getting the data to populate the API is expensive.

I get weekends off at least :P

The service itself could probably be created in less than a week, it's just getting the $500,000 needed to fill the database that's the problem.
