I'm not sure what you call it, but they're runtime tests that run on startup of the application to make sure things are running as expected

@Nathvi the way we have things setup, is thats a "unit test" and when we push things up to get hub, our build server (team city) is set up for continuous integration, so it builds whatever you push into github and automatically runs the tests associated with it

We're trying to do something similar,

so, the tests are ran when team city builds the artifacts, and not when its 'first ran'

what I'm talking about is more of a verification at runtime at client sites, but yes, having a gated check in for code is a good idea I agree
