I am so fricken confused about async and await in OWIN / Katana right now.

My understanding of this was that if I return the result of the "next" method in the pipeline, that it will execute asynchronously. I can continue processing, then "await" the result to mimic synchronous behavior.

Tasks are kind of interesting, because they can run on the GUI thread, on a background thread, on multiple threads, or on no threads. And you can await them regardless.

Folks, there is a function that I'm writing. It's an extensions method, but I don't know if that's important. The function takes an object (this) and writes it to a log. Also doesn't sound like a bug with VS, if you refactor outside VS then the likelihood of things going wrong increases quite dramatically.

I can name two projects FlowChartMVC and DBServerConnections under a solution named Random and then all she had to do was rename them to Exercise1, Exercise2 and Practical1 before submission :(

and IsLike is getting updated from async method call. Owner of IsLike property is implementing INotifyProperty changed but when IsLike is getting updated converter is not getting triggered

Yes, when I set breakpoint it works from main thread but not from async call
