I saw a video about chat gbt attempting to solve coding problems, but ultimately failing due to their "complexity", but I cannot find the video

people do not understand that first we should not even call this IA it's not fucking intelligent. Then chatgpt clearly trained on SO, and a bot that have trained on SO, feeding its own future training by itself will split non sense very fast haha. this will kill itself.

@Monomantle It's both a bit better and much worse than that. It can gather recollections based on a multitude of sources that the model was trained with, giving it the new impression of having an actual knowledge base; but it cannot provide references to where it took those ideas from, and most models do not even actively search for content on the web when asked.

it's already the case, every piece of article ever written can be used as training, so its can be biassed by nature cause the training material is biased

I don't think it's about allowed or not based on that, there is literally no point to ever allow ai content inside a SO post cause it's an archive not a chat bot. Want to archive a bot generated message is stupid

if SO want include chatGPT they need to do it outside the current way SO work

Like many tech companies, they're terrified of being replaced by pure AI players, and they're OK with losing in quality if it allows them to occupy this space themselves

@Monomantle It is only natural that they don't want to pull another Tay. Technology has evolved a bit since then, but it also required the immense work of curators to stop offensive content from entering the model.
