i have one issue in which i have to send some data to server and from server that data will be received by either Android device or iOs device. So my question is what data type or path should i use to communicate between iOs and android device? JSON can be the solution i know but i made some code in iOs and i used byte array. so is there any way that android device can receive data in byte array?

@DharaShah no issue was , i m setting tag on checkbox which is status coming from server, so if status is 2 then user can check/uncheck that checkbox, and I am able to do this now, but checked checkbox becomes uncheck when scroll listview
@RobinHood I already told you , I used this in my code but it didn't solve my probme
in that case maintain another list that has the values of items that have been checked, when scrolling m sure the adapter getview gets called,search through the collection for mathcing ids and set the chekcbox status
@AbhijitKurane i want to show an circle before updating the listview , everything is working fine, while doinbackground of async task fetch the data from server it shows the progressbar but while updating the listview it freezes for sometime and then listview is shown, i want to remove that freezing of progressbar before updating
