It is so sad, I could flag this response stackoverflow.com/a/1685331/1699210 as VLQ and it will be deleted and again no one would see that it is an answer to a recommondation question. I already did add a comment on this answer stackoverflow.com/a/26841626/1699210

@Joiner because break in a while loop is bad if the condition to exit the loop can be in the while statement.

It makes the code hard to follow

Can you develop it such that it is reasonably maintainable?
Is it future proof?
Is it supportable with basic usages?

If to any of the three questions I'd answer "no" with your code, it's downvote-worthy.

break is a control flow that tells the jvm to terminate end-thru-start, so with a simple while-do with no control flow, the code is more maintainable in general.

Having breaks and early returns are also not good because the flow is overly linear.
