nowadays with the flag queue stably at its minimum in years, I don't have any more excuses for avoiding the NAA queue, or for doing actual paid work. Tough times eh?

@Adriaan Can't comment on that question (mostly since I haven't read it) but in general FFMPEG is one of the tricky topics. Should be on-topic if you use it as a library in your code or similar. Would be off-topic to ask how to use it from the command line.
Not sure which one it was doing but the lines where it is a programming tool and not are blurry even at the best of times.
@Adriaan That question would be perfectly on-topic on Super User, though. Although given the behavior on display, even had the user not gotten their account deleted, I feel like migrating it would effectively be lobbing a grenade into SU's living room.
