@JL2210 That's, um, a bit pessimistic. It's very likely that the requirements for cv-pls requests in SOCVR will change as a result of the move to SO only requiring 3 CV to close. It's been something that has been on people's mind since the 3 CV experiment. The requirements exist to limit the number of requests to a level at which it's possible for the people participating in the room to handle them, without leaving large quantities of requests unhandled, and to focus
the efforts of people in the room on questions where that effort will be of the most benefit to the community. Those goals are still relevant. While the number of questions which the room can handle has increased, it's still not all that high, relative to the total number of closeable questions. The reality is that there are a massive number of old questions on SO which could be, and should be, closed.
The priority should remain those questions which are of most benefit to the community to see closed (i.e. questions which people are likely to encounter). We can, and should, expand the number of cv-pls requests which we accept in the room, but I don't think the room can function without any limits. Where the new limits should be is something we should explore.
But, it shouldn't be turned into an unlimited list. An unlimited list would just be duplicating the Close Vote Review Queue for the people who know about this room. Doing that really wouldn't be serving the community at large.
