@user10478 If really interested, that might be something you should first search for on Meta and then ask about, if you find nothing. Given that we have no idea what you mean by "some of the more damning aspects of the question ban", it's impossible for us to say if the specific things you're interested in have been discussed. But, if this is something you're concerned about, the discussion really belongs on Meta, where a wider audience can/will participate.

@AndrasDeak Just the fact that it's part of some code challenge doesn't make it off-topic. It might be off-topic for other reasons, but being part of a challenge, contest, homework, test, etc. doesn't in itself make it off-topic. (not that I think they should be answered)
