@user0042 We have the same type of disagreement which can be expressed for any request (e.g. cv-pls requests). While there is a format that was discussed in a room meeting, what has actually been happening is people replying to the request and indicating why they disagree.

@Olaf Stilton with port is not unusual. My sister-in-law worked at a Stilton factory in Hartington. (Peak District village near us). We got slipped some interesting variants that umm.. 'leaked out' of the plant. Unfortunately, the factory is now closed down:(

@MartinJames Maybe that's the reason the supermarket does not have it since the time I tried. When I'm there, always peek if they have it, but never seen since the first try. And that seems to be the only supermarket which ever had it. Well, maybe I should check for some "cheese shop" or so. But they normally don't have English cheese, only continental.

Maybe you need better promotion? Until I tried the tilton, I only knew Cheddar and Chester which I both did not consider very interesting (which does not imply they are bad)

@Olaf Cheddar is good as long as it's very mature to ennhace the taste. I can happily shovel down cheddar and dry chardonnay until I pass out. I try to not do that too often:)

@MartinJames Well, I prefer pasta al forno or on pizza, etc. If you want something very tasty, mix potatoe slices (half cooked), tomatoes, broccoli, corn and lamb-filet (diced, roasted, but rare inside), a sauce (cream, thyme, garlic, onions, salt, pepper) and gratinate with gouda (30-40 min @ 180° hot air).

Optionally sprinkle small bread-crumbs (the one used for breading) and parmegiano for the last ca. 15 minutes.
