If they're validated. For something like this, where its merely unsavory self promotion, you should use a mod flag.

people will forever think you got some kind of penalty for doing something dirty (which you did ;-))

But others will loose alot, for example the early contributors of arrays.

There are a couple hundred users sitting at 3-4k right now that'll lose literally all of their rep from that

Because I find regexes with positive lookahead or the like unreadable and unmaintanable and, more often than not, not what you really want.

First time that I agree with Tuna... just dump all regex crap...
