@rgchris The question I'd ask would be how people want the source to look compared to and competitive with other projects. I never really installed or messed with Uniserv so I don't know how that figures in, what it would do differently.

Down to one last setjmp/longjmp (outside of the abstraction layer for exception handling). It's in the debugger. :-/ But that's hopefully the last barrier to "embracing the host language exception model in the API" Which will require additional code, but it's just that code can be written then.

CGI is still Rebol 2 (is a Cheyenne server)

But Cheyenne can call external CGI

if we can get a recent r3 up and running, presumably one can do evals using CGI using the same technique I used to prevent damage

There's no evaluator at present for rebolbot because it was just too expensive to run one

I know a server that might be a better fit.
