I know promises are for async calls, but can we do simple operations in promises. Just for your info like this?

function add(a,b) {return a+b ;}

function addViaPromise() {
return new Promise(resolve, reject) {
resolve(add)
}
}

but why is it always in pending state?

Anyone got a moment for an easy question? I use blabla() {
const whiteList = ['Clear'];
const flist = this.forecasts.list;

const images = flist.filter(weather => {

return whiteList.indexOf(weather.weather[0].main) > -1;

}
);
console.log(JSON.stringify(images) + ' This is from filter');



} I want to push my results onto my array.. how to do that only for those filtered results...
