You have compiled a debug version of the opencv library ITSELF. The "d" at the end of the filename shows it. You are missing the debug symbols for the opencv library. So you have to either:

I do not understand the problem since my several other programs are executing in Debug mode with the same Property settings!Also,I build the solution using Release.But there is no .exe file created.Hence,I cannot see the result.When I again opened a fresh Project and copyied the code, it is returning the error fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals. I am perplexed, since other programs are running and I am stuck with this.Please help.
I have already put them in my question above.Further,I went into the Projects folder of VS2010 and saw (to my surprise that) instead of the folders 1. Debug 2. myprj_test(inside which 2.1 Debug 2.2 Release 2.3 code.cpp) 3. ipch 4. Release 5. myprj_test.sdf 6 myprj_test.sln as created earlier for the same Project, I now have only 1.Debug 2.myprj_test (inside which is just Debug and the code) 3. myprj_test.sln
I never had to do this before for the other programs, so how come suddenly this problem has appeared.Moreover, I do not understand where from should I copy the PDB files (I am a beginner with only 10 days into opencv)!!

Where are the PDB files generated and how come suddenly the debug files are missing?
