how do you detect when a user enters the chat with ChatExchange and get their user name

This python kata is driving me nuts!

The author obviously did not decide when he wants integers and when floats.

If I convert my results to long, I get errors like: 0L should equal 1.48572658127453e-78 and if I let them be floats, it tells me that e.g. 3.4 should equal 3

I guess I'm going to hit submit so often until I get a set of random tests that passes.

Why does (numbers[:1]+numbers[-1-1:]).center(2*3-1) work on the console (Python2), but not on codewars?

The "string".center(length) function does not work.
