@KevinM.Mansour no, moderator agreement is a specific document that doesn't require them to do anything specific, of course, just not to violate the clauses there. Requiring mods to do work would be... quite unethical.

SE can still, technically, decide to strip dissenters of the diamond, but that would be a horrifically dumb move on their part, so I doubt it.

@NordineLotfi ah, that - yeah, kind of: SOBotics (not confirmed, but possible), SOCVR (not confirmed, but likely), BSOR (confirmed), and BHQ (confirmed) already posted the same PSA and will be moved to gallery mode on Monday

Imagine a room like SOCVR will be closed, and the site will be flooded with spam. This, alone, should make them worry about the site.

@KevinM.Mansour eh, SOCVR suspending operations (there is already an agreement to suspend handling and reviewing, just waiting on the room gallery mode decision) won't be as impactful. Our main ammo is Charcoal stopping handling spam, and they are on board.

@NordineLotfi NP :) You probably noticed there are starred messages in the respective rooms asking for feedback on whether the rooms themselves should go gallery mode. I haven't seen any dissent so far, so... pretty likely that both SOCVR and SOBotics close down too.
