Yes and that's what I'm saying. If this user keeps bumping around all those 85000 question it's a big mess in the other tags. For what use? @RobertLongson - yes, indeed there is a lot of tracked information. Colleagues from various other European countries were baffled when they found out about this being an issue that delayed some projects into becoming productive. I know that some of the company-wide software are customized for DE users to not show such information, so it is an important factor to consider for the stakeholders. — Alexei 1 min ago

@Catija well, then I wouldn't include it in the style guidelines. Only when you decide on something and everyone is onboard with it, then set that as a guideline. Is better a minimalist guideline that everyone follows rather than an all encompassing that everyone has objection to it. I had a complaint about similar behavior (from an anonymous user, which meant everything was going into the Review queue) a while back. The consensus was that removing the tag only made sense if the excel and vba tags were not already present. If they were, then no one should be going through to remove just that tag. The general QA-knowledge base format of Stack Overflow is not a "topic". What is the topic from which the question is "off?" Because warning disappeared after cleanup I may have thought warning disappeared. It would be better to have the flag as long it is active. @user11826754 one other thing that may help is for you to add your “real name” instead of using the userXXX moniker. The problem with it is that it is our version of the twitter egg; and generally answers are discounted from people that have that moniker (whether or not they should be). I don't visit the review queue a lot, but when I do I routinely reject edits removing the Excel-vba tag or replacing it with the vba tag. Tags will also be added automatically too if the Excel-vba tag gets removed, so these provide no value, and it makes no sense to me to remove a tag now because else it will be removed in the future — Erik A 33 secs ago
So, there's a reason I'm not looking at LO effectiveness (or review at all) as a criteria for this test, @gnat: there are a TON of variables, and the easiest ones to modify are often not the most effective. For example: the most effective close votes have long been those that were effective independent of review: questions that were getting a lot of attention already. This sort of thing confounds review-centric analysis unless controlled for; they may not make it into review at all, they probably don't make it through, and even if they do a LO consensus does precisely nothing. — Shog9 ♦ 1 min ago

@PauliSudarshanTerho Something I notice about all your comments is that you do not "ping" the person you answer. As the OP you get a notification when someone posts a comment to you, but the reverse is not true. Unless you use a
@ before the user's name they will not be notified.
