i have some little isues in launcher app

actually i have made launcher app which is being launcher on installation

on pressing home button its showing me launcher app

on everytime pressing home button my app is shown in dialog to choose for default launcher app

now clcking on my app icon inside dialog button should bring home screen of device instead

Q: How to Show Device's Home Launcher from my own Launcher

I am writing an app in which i have to show device's Home Launcher when user do click on button (which i have placed on my own launcher), I tried using this code, but its showing all the apps installed on my device, but what if i want to show Device's Home Launcher only on button click public cl...

i dnt want to make my custom home screen i just want to make launcher app clicking on home button will show my launcher app in dialog (if there are more than one launcher ) action_Screen_on will show myactivity with some work done and with button now clicking on button will show device default launcher screen while in my case its shwoing MainActivity

@Erum First of all, launchers are triggered by intents, so if you replace the default launcher application with your own application, the next time you fire an intent for the launcher your application will be launched because that is the default launcher application now.

One thing you can try is to get hold of the package/class name of the actual launcher application which you want launched.
