how do I get the item clicked from a custom adapter?

I need to send an intent from the activity using it as i can't send from the adapter, and i need to add the id of the item clicked

Yes

ArrayList<? extends A> means an ArrayList of some unknown type that extends A.
That type might not be C, so you can't add a C to the ArrayList.

In fact, since you don't know what the ArrayList is supposed to contain, you can't add anything to the ArrayList.

If you want an ArrayList that can hold any class that inherits A, use a ArrayList<A>.

whenever you add, subtract or do anything with floats, write it like: [number].[decimalvalue]fNOTE THE LOWER-CASE f AT THE END! That says the value is a float and not a double

example: 123.45f, 987.6543f
