Yeah I've been playing for around 16 year I think

Yeah :'( Usually I came back from school, helped my mother a bit and then I played to dinner. Now I come home, eat and have around 2 hours left.

And a safe part of that is reading.

i once made a list about all the ones i could remember

I've played a ton but probably closer to 100 I think, I usually playing multiplayer games like geist

counted about 160

so its probably more...

Oh ok. Based on your time when you are online I thought you were from Europe somewhere. A friend of mine also studies coding but here in Germany and I think he is fine with it... A lot of unneccessary stuff, but it works out :/

Tho I never listen in lectures.

@Hans1984 Yeah... But in my case for example I am coding since 3 years about now and Java since 3-4 months... They will start with "Thats an int variable. They are really useful when it comes to numbers" I can see that coming already..

Yeah it's better if attendance isn't mandatory at a university level.. you're treating adults like children

If someone wants to waste the 10 thousand dollars (or more or less) a semester by not going, and failing, that's their problem and a lesson they will have to learn the hard way

But yeah if the government is paying for your school, then it makes sense to force people to go lol

its way different in the US

ppl pay a ton of money to attend college

so yes, they should be able to decide on their own if the attend or not

like 100€ a semester and i got a free bus ticket for the whole semester for it

so it was basically 0€ for study

Mine would be ~3000-5000€ a semester

oc there are private colleges too

where you have to pay alot more

but the common college is somewhat like that

sometimes 500€

but not alot more

i think thats a big problem in the US

ppl make ALOT of debts to attend college

if they dont find a job they are screwed

because they have to pay all of that money back

Canada is A LOT better

Not as good as Germany, or some other EU countries, but definitely better than the US

was ~$11K CAN per year, and the student loans aren't so bad

You only have to pay 70% of them back, and the interest rate on them is decently low

Plus I got a few grants, which you don't have to pay back at all (they're kind of like scholarships)

So I was loaned ~40k, and only have to pay back 20k of it
