any idea locker app ... i have made till yet ... i have blockeed some apps and now when trying to access those apps now my app locker screen is in front but after entering locker code my app should open that accessed app (those app that is being accessed by user) but now how will i do means i m confused in logic my app should show accessed app and will i stop my service if yes then when will i start my service again
Hi everyone! I have a webview comprising of text and image. I am using webservice to show the text and image on the screen. But the width of the image is so large that I have to scroll horizontally to view it. Can anyone help me so that I need not to scroll the content of the webview horizontally to view it? @PiyushGupta, Sorry! The link that u provided me with only disables the horizontal scrolling in a webview but I don't want to do that. Rather, I want to fit the entire webview content in my mobile screen, so as to stop scrolling it horizontally.

This is a hack, but one that has worked for me successfully in the past. Surround your WebView in a vertically oriented ScrollView:

@TheLittleNaruto, actually i don't want to disable horizontal scrolling. Rather I want to compress the webview so that the width of the webview exactly matches the width of the screen. The problem lies when the webview contains huge image
@TheLittleNaruto, All u r suggesting me is to disable horizontal scrolling in the webview, whereas i want to compress the contents of the webview. Both r different, don't u think??
I checked it after reviewing that link... I think that is a little overengeneered, it works sure, but I'm not sure if this makes sense in every case exspecally about the performance I'm not sure, but it is of cause helpful.
You can do one thing, When prompt user for paid version, Just save all data in your app's db. And copy it somewhere in sd card. When the paid version will be installed, check for the db in the sdcard and store it into app.

@AndoMasahashi when you leave, onPause() is always called if activity is not finished. If finished, then first onStop() and then onDestroy(). When you come back, at that time, onResume() is called, but, beware, it is also called when the activity is created

@nida you already have the code for sorting the list. I don't think it should be much difficult to just change the field, according to which you want it sorted. What have you tried?

A return value of 1 indicates reflexive inequality, you're designing it in a way that is not reflexive. This breaks the contract. You'll get undefined behaviour.
