but that isn't a problem. we just need to make sure that when it is translated, it is shown properly

Doesn't work for arabic characters or chinese characters which require UTF-8

Okay. Then how are you managing? Something like setting database connection to utf-8? Just like set_charset('utf8');

@Neil Thanks. But I am not content as I don't know what went wrong. But I just used the function which is already there in the running website code which in turn uses PHPMailer library.

So what I did was I just included the class by require_once and then used that function.
