never been a fan of xml based UI but XAML certainly was something special.. while technically there's still MAUI but .. i mean everybody wants web everything.. dunno how long this ers gonna last before we're on to next fad

I'm hard-core in avalonia from time to time (whenever I have the time)... just not in my daily job
Mostly asp.net/t-sql/c# these days, with some occasional html+js
Oh, and lots of Azure

@Maverik same, I never liked XML but oddly enough, took a liking to XAML, even with dart for flutter and js for react native, XAML feels like home

@DJ Yeah, I never took a liking to flutter... maybe I need to play with it more, but it just never clicked for me. We're hoping to take some second and third looks at Avalonia in the future, but as ever we're a small team steering a big ship. Change comes slowly.
