still the issue

basically i make an array of a bunch of divs, those divs are then selected and the selected div gets a fadeIn while the others are hidden

however the for (which is now an each) is not iterated even once

the supposed cause being that my array is not an array so there is only one entry in each

Even the worst, most basic, crappiest program ever made can be turned into something absolutely mind blowingly awesome, with a good solid foundation that has an ability to expand and be extended. jQuery would be a perfect example, except jQuery doesn't really do anything on it's own. It's just crap that doesn't do anything to begin with.

@Abhishek iOS 6 is no exception. Crappy user experience, with all the tools there to make it very-very good.

Q: How to make sure requests are from my website?

Some smartass people are using my api-centric web app to clone my service and make it appear like their own. Is there a way to make sure all ajax requests are for/from my website? Sure I could use the referrer header but they could easily fake it.

So to make it fast to enter data, tab - write number - tab - write number, instead of double tab.

And yeah. You're inspecting an object, and objects can change. So when you look at the object from the console, you're seeing the changed version (which the console then caches.)
