I've been using it for a different website I'm building. Basically I've just been using it for simple tasks like AJAX posts and adding classes and other stuff that would be easy to do with vanilla

jQuery isn't terrible, but I think the vanilla dom library is easier to use

So maybe I should get rid of JQuery and use vanilla

@KevinB Yes windows. And same on Unix. But I would expect Node to be smart enough to installed it in a path in the default PATH

@scitronboy I would recommend then you learn new vanilla. and if you're concerned about support learn webpack and babel. there isn't much point is trying to hide from build tools

if you want to make you own blog from scratch, or use a static generator that gives you full control.. sure. you're not their target audience. but if you want something super easy to use with lots of support and backing.. well wordpress isn't a bad choice. as much as I despise the software myself. Where did you change your path @JBis? If you edited it in the environmental variables in the system config in Windows, you have to close and reopen your existing command prompt windows to get the new value.
