I have one game that uses micro transactions, but only for cosmetics. I'm fine with that, nobody forces me to buy them, but I think it's still a shitty practice
@hilli_micha context: I used to run a lot. One day I was going down a hill and something didn't feel right, since then the knee has been giving me a few problems. The usual scenario since then has been that I could do a decent amount of stuff without nothing happening, then I'd get this weird feeling from my knee, and if I kept going a few minutes after that, the knee would hurt quite badly

Ah, then you've probably got the opposite problem. Running is actually quite hard on knees, so you may have a little wear and tear there. I apologize I assumed you didn't run frequently. My right knee is pretty banged up from antics when I was younger.
@Luggage 8-10 hours. By far the longest and largest print I've done yet. Has a little lid and you can put an LED inside, gonna paint it this afternoon.
it came out well, a few issues around the steps and some thin spots in the base. I've been increasing my first layer thickness and brim size to compensate.

I've been printing some walls and dungeon bits since and those square details are brutal. Simple walls take as long as a barrel or character with much more volume and complexity.

using amazon prices for wires (0.055 €/m) and an approx distance of 9500km between tel aviv and toronto, without infrastructure the wiring would cost ~522500€
you can probably find cheaper wire in bulk if you're buying 9500km of it, but then it would have to be a lot more resistant, and you'd need to count in the infrastructure, which would mean very likely over 1M€ either way

Can someone please confirm if they're also having the issue of the spaceship on the right jumping to the other side of the screen instead of staying on the edge like it does in firefox? smartjava.org/examples/pointerlock I swear it used to be bounded to the edge of the canvas before. But now it's jumping to the other side on my chrome.
one thing that I do know is that probably everything you use a setInterval with should be handled by a general manager, not an individual object you might lose a reference to later on
@RobertGrant This is bizarre. I rewrote my code so many times debugging it for hours only to find out that it works fine on firefox and is just an issue on my chrome in particular...
@towc again not sure what you mean my goal was to learn about memory leaks from that IBM article :) and came to same situation as OP. Anyway thanks for your input. Let's hope someone gives an answer.
