It's a browser cache problem if you reload the file without seeing the changes

then the changes can be seen

or you do not load the good file, or the file is cached by the browser

or just try to add ?1 after the url in the browser tab to be sure it loads the last file

Library x vs library y questions are terrible, and "speedup x" is just generally a bunch of irrelevant information that's specific to OP.
