Anyway, the reason that I mention it is that one day I was eating habañeros, and didn't bother washing my hands after. So when I got bad hayfever later I rubbed my eyes instinctively, couldn't open my eyes for a couple of minutes, but afterwards the hayfever was completely gone.

Yeah, it's a bit weird, but it does work. You need to be careful with the dosage ...

One application lasts for a day. After a few years of doing that, my hayfever has now almost entirely gone.
