the code runs, but the output is passing the value '1' only, the incremented values are not being passed

only the value '1' gets int the view didload, 2,3,4 are not being passed

yes, every time the NSTimer loops, the value should get incremented and should be passed to viewDidLoad...

the incremented value should be passed to viewDidLoad

you can make your image in grayscale mode

and then merge it with a texture

if you will get a image like that
