there are some "UX" things I really hate on the Mac. Like I can not just turn off the laptop screen with an external monitor attached. I would need to close the lid to shut it down. So that means I would have to by an external keyboard!
I hate the up/down arrow being so fucking narrow... a nightmare!
Why is there no "power 2" key to type daily stuff like square meters in short?
I really like the trackpad, I needed a day or two to get used to it but it is pretty intuitive as soon as you forget the "tap to click" and realize it is really a "click to click"

The rest of you - I'm totally stumped with something. I'm replacing a fragment and adding backstack, then I'm popping to go back - but the page I was on (which is just a tabList and a RecyclerView) are appearing blank

Is there something obvious I'm spacing on here...? I've stepped over the code setting their values and doing a notify data set changed

@Tim I got the answer this afternoon, I have the event related aspects of my app finished. layout and backend wise. I am now at the section of parts/restorers/etc which I want to have generalized since they all require the same data: website, location, description telephone and such. I have decided to give these subjects the general term 'automotive' with catagory id's in the database. The lay out for listview and objectview remain consistent. Yay or nay?

Nope, I can see it's displaying at least the Tab fragment container, it's showing it's background and other view's there

(I added left/right indicators since it's a scrolling list)

Granted, only the right most indicator should be visible. The other one should be gone...

What I'm seeing is that when I go back to a fragment, it's only inflating, the onViewCreated code is running but doesn't seem to be effecting the view

its all about temperature and time

@asim if a solderjoint broke it means a piece of solder is gone, reflow is mostly temporary since it wont bring back the missing solder but melt less solder back into the broken area
