It's useful to understand how a game engine works basically

Unreal, bigger prod, harder to learn, more tools. Plus it's the entry way to the company specific game engines in companies. So if you want to do computer games development one day, you want Unreal

USA need two iphones investigated because of a terrorist attack, wants the phones to be unlocked

Apple says they won't do it, because hacking software may get into the wrong hands. I can understand this but why won't they just send the phone to Apple HQ and let them unlock it and send it back

What the FBI is suggesting they do is build in a backdoor to future releases of their software so law enforcement agencies could access the data.

That we know of (unless a bug is found, that if apple new about they would patch immediately) Apple is unable to unlock these phones. However, they could possibly release a forced over the air update to all phones that includes a backdoor that would allow them to access. But most likely that would only work for future phones.

The fact is, if they could unlock it, theoretically, anyone could, which is not good. So that's not good. Keeping the method to yourself (obfuscation as JBis pointed) is only good as long as the secret is kept - so it's very bad.

The moment you need a method on that data struct, it becomes a class or whatever you need in your language
